Every call opens with a clear statement that the caller is speaking with an AI, in line with the EU AI Act transparency rules we work under as an EU-based provider.

Recording notice

If calls are recorded or transcribed, callers are told at the start. This matters in states that require all-party consent, such as California.

Only what’s needed

It asks for what a request requires (name, time, party size, phone number) and never takes payment details over the phone.

Outbound with consent

Outbound calls go to customers who agreed to hear from you. Under the TCPA, AI-generated voices count as artificial voices, so consent rules apply.

Will callers know they’re talking to an AI?

Yes. The greeting says so, and if a caller asks, it confirms it. It never claims to be a person.

Where do the contacts for “Neuna finds your customers” come from?

We research business contacts from publicly available sources such as the Austrian company register (Firmenbuch), Herold and company websites, selected by industry and region. We supply addresses of private individuals ourselves as a licensed address publisher (§ 151 Austrian Trade Act), for postal advertising only: name, postal address, gender, title, year of birth, occupation and marketing categories, with no phone numbers and no email addresses. Robinson list matching and GDPR information duties are included.

Does Neuna call the researched contacts directly?

Neuna calls people who have agreed. In Austria, marketing calls require prior consent, for businesses too (§ 174 TKG 2021), and so do marketing emails. That’s why the first contact is a letter with a personal QR code: whoever replies and agrees to a call gets a call from Neuna. Consent is documented per contact.

What does contact research cost?

The price depends on audience, region and volume. Ask without obligation and we’ll get back to you with a proposal.

What happens if it can’t answer a question?

It says honestly that it doesn’t know and offers to take a message. You receive the message by text or email right after the call.

Does it book directly into my reservation system?

By default it takes a reservation or appointment request, sends it to you, and your team confirms. That keeps you in control of tables and staff schedules. If you use an online booking tool, mention it when you sign up.

Can a caller still reach a real person?

If someone asks for a person, the AI takes a message with name, number and reason and sends it to you immediately, so you can call back.

What can Neuna do on outbound calls (“Neuna calls”)?

You upload a list of contacts who have given your business their consent. Neuna calls them on the days and in the time windows you choose, introduces herself as an AI, informs them warmly and books a first appointment with your advisor, sends reminders, takes callback requests or runs a short survey. You see the result per contact in the app.

Is it legal for an AI to call my customers?

Yes, if the contacts gave prior consent to your specific business (e.g. § 174 TKG 2021 in Austria, § 7 UWG in Germany, TCPA in the US) and the AI discloses itself at the start. Neuna does that on every call, calls within the hours you set and automatically remembers when someone prefers no further calls (opt-out list). It calls your own contacts, not purchased lists.

How are outbound minutes billed?

The Outbound plan includes 400 minutes; in the Bundle, inbound and outbound share 800 minutes. Extra outbound minutes are $0.22. You can try “Neuna calls” free for 14 days too.

Do I keep my phone number?

Yes. Your number stays exactly as it is. You only forward calls to the line we set up for you, and you choose when: always, when busy, after a few rings or after hours.

How does the 14-day free trial work?

Sign up online in about 5 minutes: your business, services and prices, hours, contacts, common questions and what Neuna should do. Within one business day we set up Neuna and send you a trial number. No credit card needed; the trial ends automatically after 14 days, at no cost and with nothing to cancel. Only if you want to continue do we start a monthly plan.

How long does setup take?

Which languages does it speak?

English and Spanish. It answers in the language the caller uses and switches when they do.

What if I go over my included minutes?

Where is call data processed?

Calls run on specialized voice-AI and telephony providers. Before you sign up, we tell you which providers are used, where data is stored and how long recordings are kept.
